What's the wiring in the middle of the first photo for? Moving the factory electric bov or something?

Depending on the Year of the Vehicle, you may just be adding one. Mid '21 Ford stopped including the BOV from Factory so it was an aftermarket add on. This item has a drop down to include the BOV, so that is what the wiring is for.
