Yes , the FENFabrication ECU Cover Backing Plate (backing plate only) is compatible with a 2022 Explorer Base, with one important condition. This is ONLY the backing plate. It is intended to be used with FENFabrication’s ECU cover. It does not provide protection by itself , it’s the mounting base, not a standalone shield.
