No, You do NOT need to buy a strut for that kit. The UPR 96–04 Mustang Tubular Chrome Moly K-Member Kit replaces the factory K-member, control arms, and sometimes the spring perches depending on the kit, but it does not replace the struts themselves. Your existing front struts will bolt back in as long as they are compatible with your suspension setup.
